CODE_OF_CONDUCT
To ensure the efficient operation and high content quality of the GraduateTextsInTechnicalMC (GTMC) community, and to uphold our core focus on educational and practical value, we have established this Code of Conduct. All participants must strictly adhere to these guidelines when contributing content, conducting reviews, and interacting within the community.
1 Expectations and Standards
In our community collaboration and content contributions, we expect and require the following behaviors:
- Expressions in discussions must be clear and unambiguous. For unconfirmed technical phenomena, please initiate discussions and verifications in the section; do not include them in formal articles until they are verified.
- Community discussions should remain focused on technical topics. We permit and actively encourage rational academic and technical debates.
- Always respect the original work of others. Prominently and clearly cite the original authors when referencing their content.
2 Review and Quality Assurance
The following rules apply to submission reviews and quality control:
- Factual errors must be strictly avoided. Fabricating unverified game mechanics or making severe logical errors in derivations will result in harsh point deductions during contribution assessments. Minor formatting, layout, or soft guideline errors will only result in a reminder to revise.
- Academic fraud and copyright infringement are strictly prohibited. Fabricating unverified game mechanics, plagiarism, or unauthorized copying of others' content is strictly forbidden.
3 Enforcement and Appeals
For behaviors that violate this Code of Conduct, the community management team will take corresponding disciplinary actions based on the severity of the offense:
- For minor formatting or tone violations (Level 1), a simple reminder will be issued. Contributors will be asked to revise the content (or assisted in doing so) to meet the guidelines, with no point deductions applied.
- For spamming or unauthorized copying (Level 2), the violating content will be deleted immediately. The involved individuals will face a short-term ban, and corresponding contribution points will be deducted based on the specific circumstances.
- For malicious fabrication of mechanics or personal attacks (Level 3), the management team will treat this as the most severe violation. The incident will be publicly announced site-wide and the offending individuals will be permanently banned.
If a contributor disagrees with a reviewer's rejection or a penalty for factual errors, core permanent members of the management team will intervene to make the final ruling and arbitration.
